Can using Melanotan prevent you from getting skin cancer?

If you have been hearing a lot about a product called Melanotan, you may be wondering if it is a good choice when it comes to preventing skin cancer. After all, you probably already know how lying out in the sun can cause it.

Can using Melanotan prevent skin cancer? -- Melanotan is a relatively new product so, at the moment, there have not been any long-term studies done as to its work in preventing skin cancer.

That being said, a natural tan will usually take many hours to develop. Many hours exposing your body to UV rays and, thus, to the possibility of getting skin cancer.

With Melanotan, however, you only need to spend a few minutes in the sun to activate the product. Far less hours than you would with a natural tan and, therefore, far less exposure to UV rays.

How do you use Melanotan? -- Melanotan will arrive at your home as a dry powder. All you have to do to use it is to mix the dry powder with a sterile injection water and then inject it under your skin. Most people inject it either on their legs or hips.

Once injected, the Melanotan will then need to be activated by a few minutes of being in the sun. That can be achieved by lying out in your garden for a few minutes, or by even just walking around in the sun.

How long does a Melanotan tan last? -- That is another wonderful thing about Melanotan, as a typical tan will last you several months.

Compared to a natural tan that will typically fade after 10 to 14 days, having a Melanotan tan means you will have to spend far less time getting it and even less time actually keeping it.
